Willow Pond opened its doors in January 1996 and is located in Canning Vale, 15 kilometres (25 minutes) south of the Perth Central Business District. We are a family owned and managed business.

Willow Pond opened its doors in January 1996 and is located in Canning Vale, 15 kilometres (25 minutes) south of the Perth Central Business District. We are a family owned and managed business.

Our venue is situated on 2.2 hectares of picturesque landscaped Japanese gardens surrounding a magnificent ornamental lake and cascading waterfall.

It combines the ambience of the large man made Japanese lake and gardens that include several traditional Japanese Zen Gardens – the main one being situated between the entrance to the restaurant and function centre and based on the famous Ryoanji Garden in Kyoto.

Three tastefully decorated function rooms – separated to ensure privacy – are available for seated functions from 30 to 160 guests. Ample free on-site parking and disabled facilities are available.

We are the perfect setting for your garden wedding, reception, conference, seminar or any other special occasion such as engagement or birthday.

In November 2004, “Ramon’s at Willow Pond” (café/restaurant) opened for business serving modern Australian dishes. It has a large alfresco area that overlooks the lake and gardens. Its foyer houses an impressive museum displaying antique weaponry and other items belonging to the owner. It also incorporates the records of the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame.

The ambience, tranquillity and serenity of Willow Pond can only truly be appreciated through personal inspection. General viewing times are on Saturdays between 09:00 – 11:30 and 14:30 – 16:00 (bookings are appreciated).
