It is only minutes from Western Australia’s premier tourist destination - the port city of Fremantle – and just 20 minutes from Perth or 30 minutes from Perth Airport.

Our fully inclusive packages mean that we can take care of all the details – even accommodation for you and your guests! The Tradewinds Hotel Fremantle offers 83 guest rooms, including a choice of standard rooms, studio rooms, spa rooms and 2 bedroom short stay apartments. All rooms have access to a high speed broadband internet service, Foxtel and movies. Guests are also free to enjoy the hotel facilities including swimming pool and spa during their stay.

Ideally suited to wedding receptions, our 7 function rooms can cater for a small boardroom style meeting for 10 or up to 220 for cocktails. Complimentary secure parking is available for guests at the rear of the hotel. With its stunning views of the Swan River and a choice of elegant banqueting rooms and function rooms, the Tradewinds Hotel in Fremantle is the perfect setting for a wedding reception or other celebration like an anniversary or a birthday party.

Our Event Coordinators will take the worry out of all the planning. They will advise and assist you with everything from room set-up and decoration to choice of menu, accommodation and anything else that needs to be organised.

We have three main halls for Wedding Receptions - our most popular room being the Plymton Room. The Plympton is ideally located adjacent to the Garden Courtyard and its Swan River backdrop. The Plympton can accommodate 160 guests at a banquet or 200 for cocktails. Located on the second level of the hotel, the Palm Room radiates old world charm. Its sweeping verandas overlooking the Swan River are an ideal location for pre-dinner drinks, or wedding photographs at sunset. It is the perfect choice for a more intimate wedding reception or a birthday party for 70 guests or up to 150 for cocktails.

The Heritage Room is the ideal venue for smaller, more intimate wedding receptions and banqueting functions. Located on the ground floor with doors opening onto the courtyard the room enjoys views of the Swan River the room accommodates up to 70 guests at a buffet reception or 100 for cocktails.
